So you have a flex shaft or you are thinking about buying one.  Let me show you how to take care of it.  It should last 20 years or more.  What motor and brand do you need?  And what about all those different bits, burs, wheels, discs etc what do they do?  I’ll show you what they are intended to be used for and how I use them for things other than their planned purposes.

Kit fee of $10 payable to Instructor at class time includes: handouts and metal, stone, wood and wax to work on.

Instructor will provide various bits and some flex shafts.

SupplyList (all students must bring):

• Flex shaft if you already have one mounted on wood with a clamp
• Safety goggle
• Dust mask
