Allow yourself to discover and enjoy watercolor painting by letting it do what it is designed to do. Let water be your friend and watch it move the color around. We will give up our preconceived ideas and let our intuition guide us. The word spontaneity brings up thoughts of no structure and no rules. That is partially true but it takes a few basic rules and techniques to get that effect we desire. In this workshop, the first goal is to have fun and take the intimidation out of watercolor! Secondly, through some easy, relaxing and enjoyable exercises, we will learn how to "let go" and create some amazing paintings. Our first painting will be a hummingbird/floral and, if time allows, each student will also do a painting of choice.
