Make metal move. Never be stuck with flat again. Synclastic formed Argentium silver cuff and earrings, using swage blocks and April hammers. Learn how to create easy Synclastic shape bracelets and earrings with simple hand tools. Have fun practicing, and exploring many new surface textures and patterns and perfecting the forming skills you can use daily in your jewelry making.

Many of you have purchased the "April" hammer from me along with the swage block but maybe never got a chance to give it a work out. Here is your chance! Bring your hammer and swage block and we'll texture and form at least a couple of cuff bracelets in copper or brass then another cuff and a pair of earrings in Argentium silver.

I'll share with you a bunch of tricks and tips to be successful making these as well as ideas for DIY tools and jigs.

I will have some April hammers for shared use if you don't have one... and some to purchase if you decide you'd like one of your own. Wood swage blocks too. Rolling mills and texturing materials and hammers & stamps (oh, my) for you to experiment with. Feel free to bring your own favorite texturing things.

It will be a fun, productive day.

*Bring your own "April Hammer" and swage block or use one of mine. If you would like your own, pre ordered sets of hammer and block are specially priced at $100, which includes the tax for a great savings for registered students only. Please pre-order by May 30 2020 to allow time for hammers to be made and shipped.

Assistant Renee Garver will be on board to help guide you.
