In this fun and creative class students will create their own one-of-a-kind boho pendant. Strut your style as you will draw on your creativity and think out of the box to design two settings that complement each other. Each pendant will be a work of art in its own right.
Students will learn to drill holes in stones, make custom settings for tiny cabochons and how to set those cabochons on top of a larger cabochon. Along with learning proper sawing techniques, the class will also show you how to stamp your metal for predictable and consistent results. You will make silver balls, or 'rain drops' and learn how to solder them on securely the FIRST time! Students will learn how to properly close jump rings and then 'pick' solder them closed. In class we will explore a variety of texturing possibilities and finishing processes. In addition to all of the above, you will learn a number of tips and tricks to render your jewelry making easier, more fun, and more productive.
