Learn tons of mixed media techniques while creating small works of art that include vintage images. Techniques covered: Collage, mark making, paintover on images.

Learn how some GOLDEN products work - how you can use them in novel ways.

Techniques explored: Textures and mark making using GOLDEN Gels, pastes, and grounds.

Students create samples of techniques that will fit into a small booklet for their future reference. Written instructions will be provided.

Kit/Materials Fee (payable to instructor at class time):

  • $20 includes:
  • Substrates
  • Use of acrylic paints and supplies
  • Also included:
  • Gesso
  • Images
  • Papers
  • Loads of GOLDEN Mediums, Gels and Pastes
  • GOLDEN Grounds
  • Use of stamps/stencils and mark making tools

Student should bring:

  • Brushes including 1 inch flat for acrylic
  • Water container
  • Paper towels
  • Baby wipes
  • Scissors

Optional:

  • Your own images, papers, rubber stamp patterns and/or stencils, favorite mark making tools, pencil
