This class will shake up your color range and enliven your paintings. This is not a boring color theory class, but a way to see color dynamics in action. What happens when you put a lively saturated color next to another bright color? What happens when you introduce a desaturated neutral? How can you create a mood using a combination of color choices? Come find out in this action and information packed class. You will leave with several finished paintings that will become your road map to creating paintings with both complementary colors and contrasts. I wish someone had taught me these techniques when I was in art school. Save yourself a lot of muddy paintings and learn to fear no color. Note: Although this is a Process/Technique oriented workshop, you will take home 2 - 3 finished paintings. Kit/Materials Fee (payable to instructor at class time):
