Using copper sheeting and doing simple fold-forming techniques, students will create several pieces of jewelry. Once the bases are created, students will then take areas on the copper and do torch-fired enameling. Students will also have the option of using a variety of patinas on their folded forms. Cold connections will also be covered to connect and assemble their work.

Kit/Materials Fee (payable to instructor at class time):

  • $58.00 includes:
  • 24 gauge copper sheeting
  • Findings and embellishments
  • All wires and cold-connections
  • All patinas
  • All enamels and items needed for the projects

Student should bring:

  • Hammer
  • Bench block
  • Texturing hammers (if desired)
  • Needle-nose and bent-nose pliers
  • Metal scissors or snips
  • Wire cutters
