Doug Baldwin is a commercial and fine art photographer and a flameworker. After receiving his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, he opened a commercial photography company. Since then he has worked with a wide range of clients from individual glass artists to Fortune 500 corporations.
Doug has taken flameworking classes at the Mesa Arts Center in Mesa, Arizona and at Arrow Springs in California. His love for all things glass has widened to include glass fusing, slumping, sand carving, kiln work, neon and plasma sculptures.
Many glass and bead artists would like to have nice photos of their finished pieces, but don’t have the technical expertise to accomplish good photos themselves.
