Learn to paint on silk to create unique wearable works of art!  If you can hold a paintbrush, you can paint on silk. You don't even have to be able to draw well.  Similar to watercolor, the dyes are vivid in color and flow like magic.  Learn the techniques needed to control the medium yet allow the inherent qualities of the colors and the silk to shine through. We will be using the Seri method of painting, using resist to control the flow of dye.  You will be addicted to this!

Take your silk scarf to the next level in my Friday workshop, Upcycled, Felted, and Fused by felting it! Beautiful....

In this class you will learn:
The inherent qualities of silk.
The techniques needed to complete a silk project.
You will leave the class with at least 2 finished projects.
