Faux Mo is faux mosaic! Come along and learn how to imitate a mosaic look using paint and canvas. You will also learn my techniques for finding a style of character that appeals to you.

Students should bring:

• Fluid Acrylic paints in whatever colors you like
• Burnt Umber Light
• Titan Buff,
• Paynes Gray
• Titanium White (I will also bring my paints so if you need an additional color, you can use mine)
• a few bright, cheap acrylic colors (like ceramcoat)
• brushes (I like large and medium filbert, plus a 1” flat brush and a junk brush to use with gel medium)
• gel medium
• black and white gel pens,
• Gessobord (I would suggest 12” x 16” to give you space to work)
• several pieces of flat (unmounted) canvas that have been prepared with Gesso before class. You can buy this already prepared to avoid the gessoing!
