If you want to try painting abstracts, but have no idea how to go about it, this is the class for you. Beginners in the world of abstraction often over think the process, and become frustrated and terrified just looking at a white canvas. We will use a method of abstraction that takes you left brain out of the equation. The random aspect of this method makes for delightfully unexpected results. Expect to create one or more abstract paintings.

Materials fee of $5 payable to Instructor at class time includes:

Foam plates

MDF boards
and the use of Instructor's supplies during workshop:

Modeling compound

YES paste

Polymer medium

Templates

Gesso

Golden Fluid Acrylic paints

Students should bring:

Scissors

Ball point pen

Flat 1 inch brush (for watercolor and acrylic)

Amall detail brush

Water container

Apray water bottle

Paper towels
