Defending My Love

Tuesday July 29th 9 - 4:30 $130
  Julie Haymaker Thompson

Student Level:
Intermediate
Type of Workshop: Project - you will complete if not a beginner
Prerequisite: None

Wrap it in pewter, encase it in metal bars - a cage if you will – it’s a cool way to protect your heart. Keeping out the heart-breakers is a wooden-wheeled cage adorned with arrows, keys and tape measure and finally topped by a wind-up key. You’ll paint, drill, age and burnish your heart and its enclosure and add a pull chain for good measure. Combine vintage and industrial style for a unique sculpture that you’ll proudly display upon your return home.
