Type of Workshop: Process-students will leave with handmade tiles

If as a child you loved coloring in a coloring book like I did, then this is the class for you!
In this process driven class, we will create gorgeous hand stamped and painted tiles that can be used in a variety of other mosaics or projects. We will use polymer clay as our canvas and will use rubber stamps to create the designs that will be “colored” in. We will also use collage techniques, embedding and gold leaf to create some beautifully embellished tiles. I will go over some easy painting techniques so those who are concerned about their painting skills will feel relaxed and will be successful. Students will leave class with beautiful, totally handmade tiles and the skills that have a wide range of applications.
