Come play, explore and discover your true, authentic creative self. In this journaling class, embrace your care free, adventurous “inner art girl” to create “perfectly imperfect” mixed media art. Loosen up and let your creativity roar on canvas panels, to construct a chunky, 10 page 6”x6”mini canvas art journal using assorted paints, inks, stencils, collage, embellishments, stamps, textures and lettering styles. This invigorating “artful play” class will have you making wild art with no abandon and releasing all your “grown up” art making fears and inhibitions. Big art fun…your artful spirit unraveled!
Materials fee of $20 payable to Instructor at class time includes:
- Canvas panels for Journal
- premium paper for project collage
- pens
- paint
- pens and paint sampler goody bag to keep
Instructor supplies for use in class:
- Stencils
- spray inks
- acrylics
- pan pastels
- markers
- inks
- paints
- additional brushes and specialty collage papers provided for class use
Students should bring:
- matte gel medium
- small container white gesso
- paintbrushes for acrylic ( 1” flat, #6 and #10 rounds)
- 2-3 rolls decorative washi tape
- large UHU glue stick
- apron
- baby wipes
- scissors
