Type of Workshop: Process and Project
Combine layers of metal sheet, objects, paper, rocks and fiber build unusual wearable pendants. Focus on cold joining techniques such as riveting and fabricating, and use of silver solder techniques to create prongs. Add height and dimension by use of negative and positive space. Fabrication of metal using tools such as disc cutters, dapping and forming block. Finish at least 2 pendants or rings.
Materials fee of $24 payable to Instructor at class time includes:

- bezel
- 16 gauge silver wire
- Use of fabricating tools and expendables
Students should bring:
- jewelers saw
- size 0 or 1 blades
- anvil
- bench pin
- wire snips (or tin snips)
- chain nose
- needle nose pliers
- ball peen hammer
- vice
