Metamorphosis - Soldered Bug Coffin Sunday 9 - 4:30 $145 Katherine England
Student Level: All
Type of Workshop: Process and Project
Finally, a way to have fun with your dead bug collection. This class is designed to teach basic soldering skills while making the coolest piece of jewelry ever. Start looking for a favorite critter to encase in a regal final resting place. We will learn simple glass cutting techniques, assembling, taping and soldering skills. I admit this is an intricate but fun project and a great starting place for building 3-D soldered structures. The material list may look long but as with most classes a lot of sharing goes on.
