Lorri Scott

I have been a fiber artist most all my life. I started weaving potholders as a child and making Barbie doll clothes at the age of ten.

In 1983 I taught myself to weave on a loom and began dyeing my own yarns to weave and create clothing and accessories. I continued with dyeing techniques to color scarves, stoles, and fabric for linings and other garments.

I began teaching dye classes in 1992 and over the years have taught warp painted yarns, shibori dyed scarves and other resist techniques on scarf blanks and fabric along with clothing and accessories design.

I show and sell my work at art and craft fairs, in galleries and shops, and online at Etsy.
