Like the swirl of a multicolored skirt and the clicking of castanets, Cha-Cha is the joyful noise of beautiful beads, the luscious ripple of bright hues, and the cheerful jingle of delightful dangles. This is jewelry that dances on wrist, neck and ears. Make a bracelet that turns into a necklace and jewelry that converts to compliments! Go Gypsy or Goth, Wedding or Workplace, Steampunk or Boho Funk; it’s all in your selection of bead, fiber and metal colors and textures.
In this class you will learn to create the Queen of Connectors, the wrapped loop and simple variations. Learn how to build a chain from scratch or add multiple components to ready-made chain. Then we’ll make the Cha-Cha Charms from found objects like bottles, bullets, beads and buttons. Learn to play with plastics, clay, wood, feathers and fibers. Fun!
Kit Fee of $5 payable to Instructor at class time includes: charm-making materials such as tiny bottles, bullets, buttons, tags, clay, tassels, fibers, feathers, eye pins, adhesives, handouts and extras.
