This is a 1 1/2 day workshop (9 hours).
In this class, students will get hands-on experience with basic box construction techniques, while creating a beautiful pure silver miniature home for an imaginary feathered friend. With textured walls and roof, as well as fancy accent embellishments, this house will be fit to show at a moment’s notice. Demonstrations will cover joint and joining options, as well as shaping, repairing, and finishing techniques.
Supplies Provided by Instructor: use of additional metal clay tools, as necessary, rubber stamps, texture plates, molds, miscellaneous workshop supplies and consumables, firing and finishing supplies
Optional Kit Fee of $70 payable to Instructor at class time includes: 20 grams Art Clay Silver 650 and 5 grams Art Clay Silver Syringe w/green tip. If you choose not to purchase the kit, you must bring these items to the workshop.
