Learn to make yummy, colorful enameled copper beads that look good enough to eat! We will discuss metals properties and learn to dome discs we’ve cut. I will also teach you to torch fire powdered glass enamel, no kiln required! Then we’ll use cold connections to make our pretty domes into beads that you can wear as focal pieces.

We will learn to saw, cut discs, dome metal, file, sand and properly clean the metal to then torch fire enamel onto the domes, and then we’ll cold connect them into beads.

Kit fee of $5 payable to Instructor at class time for enamels and klyrfire and sprayers

Instructor will supply: metal working tools, enamels, torch, heat resistant surface

Optional: Your own stamps- letters, little images you may want to stamp your metal before you make a bead
