Stuck in a rut? Looking for some quick, fun, artsy ideas to pep up your artwork? Looking for a kick in the pants to get you started? Bring your journal (or 140 lb wausau cardstock-available from your local stamp store) to class and we will work fast and furiously (well, not too fast) utilizing a variety of special "creative block" ideas that Kelly has devised. Learn the secrets of "unblocking the creative block". This class is guaranteed to get you creating-no matter what your medium is. This is not a "journaling" class. Think of us as mad art scientists. This is a class unlike any you have ever taken. We WILL get messy. We will create. We will have fun. Learn new techniques to make you think creatively. Learn unusual tips and tricks to get you out of the artistic funk.
Both a Process and a Project workshop, you will learn a variety of new tips, tricks and techniques while creating an unusual project. You will walk away with several pages started and the inspiration to fill the rest of the book with lots of new ideas and techniques.
Supply list:
Please bring your journal (or some heavy cardstock to class-at least 12 pages)
Collage ephemera-copies please-as you will be tearing them up for collage and reworking them
Scissors
Bone folder
Cork backed metal ruler
One permanent black ink pad (like Versafine or Memories)
Full roll of paper towels
Full roll of waxed paper
Container to hold water in
3 bristle brushes or favorite brushes to paint and glue with
Instructor will provide all other materials (including an array of mixed media supplies including professional artist quality acrylic paints and mediums), a vast variety of rubber stamps, collage ephemera, and all supplies necessary to complete the project.
