The Pewter Hand Book
$140
Lynda Abare
Student Level: All levels welcome
This is a 6 hour workshop that is divided into two days, 3 hours each day. Lunch for 1 day is included in the cost.
There’s lots of texture adorning these pewter covers. Rich looking, hand embossed, and beautifully bound, this book falls open nicely and lays flat for easy journaling. Best of all, you'll make it yourself! In this class, you'll learn how to use rubber stamps, texture plates, decorative wheels (and more!) to create this incredible book. Come learn the basics of "Repujado" (the art of metal embossing) and leave with a wonderful memento of your week in Phoenix , Arizona at Art Unraveled 2007.
Kit Fee of $25 payable to the Instructor at class time includes: a MercArt student kit (4 double-ended tools), Suede & Plexiglas, and a Paper Stub.*
*If students have these items, they should bring them and they will not be charged a kit fee.
