In jewelry combine the strength of metal with the fragility of transparency. Build with layers of extraordinary translucent paper using a collection of new ideas and techniques I offered from resins. Other techniques include rubs, burnings, oil pastel and colored pencil techniques. Bezel and resin work as time allows. Projects include fabricating rings, charms and unusual forms in jewelry. Cold join techniques presented will be intertwine knot, rivet and fabrication.
Supplies provided by instructor include: silver and bronze bezels, tissue, resins, eyelets, wire, sheet metal, expendables.

drawings, sketches, tissue, pages from an old book, photographs
Optional - copper wire, 16 gauge, oil pastels, colored pencils , found objects or sheet metal, bezel forms such as bottle tops, washers etc
