Create a finished canvas to hang on your wall using an assortment of mixed media techniques. The textured border is created with textured light modeling paste, painted and decorated with gold leaf. The tile is created by using magazine images as the collaged base and then altered by using Nevr-Dull and other combinations of collaged papers.
This is a resist technique that lets you alter the magazine colors and images. After we finish the collaged tile it will look like a ceramic tile and will be glued into place on to the canvas. This is a perfect class for people who can not draw but want to display a finished project in their home.
