In this intensive class you will transform a book into a visual journal of personality and autobiography with the use of collage and paint. Anne inspires with a wide range of artistic techniques and shares her secrets providing demonstrations throughout the day in a positive atmosphere with intuitive painting assistance. Learn how to unify collage in a lively day of creating and absorbing methods to achieve Grgich's detailed ancient feel in your own work. Spend a day with Anne Grgich, and take home a new approach to painting and seeing. Get inspired to work more freely and have your art passion awakened by the constant creative energy of the class. Learn how to paint with coffee, beeswax, acrylics, and get the various painting surfaces of Anne Grgich’s richly painted books; you will leave with one book well on its way to being complete.
Kit Fee of $10.00 payable to instructor at class time includes: Beeswax, acrylic non-toxic asphaltum tar, gold leaf, heat gun, variety of golden gels, generous amounts of luscious paints and Anne's own collage elements for each student.

Old sturdy book about 10-20 pages averaging about 8” x 10”
Minimal and Select pre-sorted collage (10 pages)
Glue that dries clear-Elmers or PVA Glue
Small-medium-large paint brushes,
5 small tubes of acrylic paint-red-blue-yellow, black-white
