Miscellany of Vintage Fabric Journal $130
Marylin & Tracie Lyn Huskamp
Student Level: All levels welcome
Type of workshop:Project

Come spend the day playing with beautiful vintage fabrics from our personal stash & collection of fibers. Bring along some of your favorite paper or fabric images, ephemera, and trims to create an inspiring and luscious NO SEW vintage journal. In this workshop, you will learn a bookbinding technique, where pages can be added at any time, and a NO SEW method for making a unique fabric book cover and insides. Finally, composing within your journal - perhaps from gathered quotes, photos, memories, and found objects - pages that are sentimental, heart-felt, and personal. It will be an art treasure you will want to proudly display among your favorite things.
