The Student will learn how to structure and embellish all of the elements of the wall-hanging from the background to the final quilted heart motif. Embellishments will include beading and sequins, stenciling and hand-stitching.
Kit Fee of $15 payable to Instructor at class time includes: batting; fabric paper; felt; flower punch; jewelry gems; large tags; matt board; quilting needles, silk for heart, "Krylon" gold leafing pens.
Supply list:
Beads
DMC thread (assorted colors)
"Dupioni" silk (approx. 1/4 yard of 36" width - color of choice)
embroidery needle
glue in bottle with nozzle (e.g. "Aleenes")
ribbon 5/8" wide x 1 ½ yards(complimentary color to silk)
sequins
