The Student will be expected to learn a layering technique using three layers (fabric, ephemera and photocopies, tissue paper ) to create a fabric-like paper. The Student will also learn how to use fluid acrylic paints to create integral colors within the paper. The Student, whilst learning these techniques, will produce a piece of wall art.

Supply list:
Apron or old shirt
assortment of your favorite rubber stamps (two or three will suffice, include some with texts)
beads
cheap paint brushes (for glue)
craft knife
cutting mat
decorative thread (DMC embroidery thread will do)
favorite ephemera
gift wrap paper (thin is best)
photographic images (e.g. magazine clippings)
scissors
glue in bottle with nozzle (clear drying)
acrylic paints ("Golden Fluid", 1 fluid ounce bottles - 3 colors minimum)
heat gun or hair dryer
ink pads (dark and light colors)
metal ruler
needles of assorted sizes
pencil
