Join Anne Grgich in exploring the art of painting Landscapes of Mind. Learn how to create deep portraits of soul composing landscapes and faces with collage and ephemera to create color fields and build form with color. Anne shows how she gets her deep jewel-like effects. Students will work on two portraits in tandem, and will experience hands on and individual time with teacher through out the day. Anne offers an amazing learning experience where she shares her own passionate process and infects you with it along the way. Annie's paintings will be on hand to feel and touch and demonstrations will be given throughout class. Create stunning abstract portraiture imagery with master collage and portrait painter. Grgich offers her unique outlook in painting, building elements with collage in an easy to understand process of mixed media.
Supply Fee of $10.00 payable to instructor at class time includes: Beeswax, acrylic non-toxic asphaltum tar, gold leaf, heat gun, variety of golden gels, generous amounts of luscious paints and Anne's own collage elements for each student.
Supply List:
-Two canvases or any hard surface in a size around 8 x 10" to 20 x 14"
-Pre-selected collage materials - patterns, Iconographical imagery, an altar, a fancy ceiling, iconic imagery, faces- about 20 good pieces.
-Elmers or PVA Glue or Gel Medium
-small, medium or large paint brushes
-scissors
-water cup
