Happy Endings – “rescue” book collage $115
Cathy Taylor
Student Level: all levels
Type of Workshop: Project

Bring your tired, your worn, your battered novels yearning to be art! Join national workshop instructor and mixed media artist Cathy Taylor on an artistic adventure in which participants will discover innovative ways to create their own personal artistic stories. Using old "rescue" books, vintage photos, ephemera, memorabilia, and other pieces of the past, participants will create fine art frame able collages.  These expressive, textural collages are the perfect way to showcase old photos and postcards tucked away in a shoebox while rescuing unwanted books from the junk pile.
Each session will begin with an entertaining demonstration followed by lots of time to create.
All levels of expertise are welcome.
