This is a 3 hour workshop offered on Sunday morning.
Who said board games are for kids? Students will learn a variety of mixed media techniques while they create their own personal board game that is functional and destined to bring years of conversation and fun. The idea here is joggle your memory, bring joy to those you share it with, and build lasting memories as you go. Please bring with you toner copies of images near and dear to you (you will need double copies of around 40 images give or take.... I will have images here that you may give or take from as well).
Supply list:
Favorite stamps
Copies of favorite pictures
Scissors or Craft Knife
Adhesive of choice (E6000 rocks)
Black and White Gel Pens
A Waterpen or paintbrush
Black Staz On (or other permanent ink pad) Ink Pad
Sharpie marker
Pencil
Ruler
Notepad
Craft sheet if you have one
Self Healing mat if you have one
Heat gun (Optional but always helpful in getting stubborn paint to dry)
Bits of ephemera, stamps and trinkets you would like to bring
ost importantly, wear your grubbies, not your pearls.....
*Your basic kit should be able to fit nicely in a shoebox size rubber maid, I really do not want to force you to bring all sorts of stuff the TSA loves to take away on the trip out or back - you need space in your luggage for your creations :)
Everything else will be kitted for you and waiting for your arrival
