Create magic with simple brown bags in this playful workshop. Through the alchemy of process, paint, text and imagery, the bags are transformed with metallic hues, enhanced with repurposed encyclopedia pages and images into decorative pages that unfold to reveal pockets. The pockets can hold your precious secrets or cards that you decorate as desired. Embellished covers are added to give substance. The no sew accordion spine opens up to reveal a hidden area, perfect for words, sayings or images. This is a wonderful project.
Supplies provided by instructor include: cover boards, bags, encyclopedia pages, PVA , buttons, ribbons, sponges and paint.
Supply List:one 2 oz. bottle of craft acrylic gold paint
at least 2 foam brushes for painting
pencil
ruler
scissors
screw punch
glue stick
images or stickers to use in book and on cover
stencils or alphabet stamps
dark colored ink pad
