Create a 'real' painting from polymer clay. Learn basic design skills focusing on line, movement and balance, as well as other elements and principles concerning composition. A multitude of techniques will be introduced, including canes, molding, mica powders, mokume gane, stamping and working with liquid polymer. Your completed captivating portrait measures 5x7 or 8x10.
Supplies provided by Instructor include: use of stamps, paint, powders, tools, etc

8x10 or 5x7 canvas with wrapped edges
liquid Sculpey
palette knife
1 block each pearl, white and translucent clay
real gold or composite gold leaf
polymer clay blade
pasta machine if possible
work surface (acrylic or tile)
rag
stiff brush for antiquing
pencil
misting bottle
