This is a 3 hour workshop offered on Friday afternoon.
Say it in clay! Create a completed necklace with focal bead that is intriguing, sophisticated and timeless because wise and passionate words never go out of style! You will learn to create polymer clay faux ivory or bone set against aged copper or brass and formed over faux stone. The neutral earthy palette compliments any collection of strung stones. Barbara’s instruction offers you a series of classic techniques to apply to a multitude of future projects. The project is completed with a choice selection of stone strands and simple toggle closure, a great course for stringing basics. Big or small this bead 'says' a lot!
Supplies Provided by Instructor include: use of stamps, paint, powders, inks, tools, etc
Kit Fee of $20 payable to Instructor at class time includes: Brass rings, stone strands, toggle, beading wire, crimps, and misc. findings

polymer clay blade
acrylic dowel or roller
work surface (acrylic or tile)
rag
stiff brush for antiquing
misting bottle
stringing tools (if available) such as Crimp pliers, wire cutters
