Student Art Contest Rules

Eligibility:
•  Must attend a minimum of one full day workshop at ART Unraveled
•  Must attend The Unraveled Awards Party on Sunday, August 20th.

Submitting artist must not be affiliated with ART Unraveled in any way (family member, staff, instructing artist, etc.)  

The Art: Should relate to this year's theme - Pushing the Envelope and should be no more than 12"h x 12"w x 12"d. No Exceptions!

Submission: The piece should be submitted in an unmarked container. A tag which includes name, address, phone number, email address and description of entry should be included inside the container with the entry (entries will remain anonymous until *after* voting takes place). Sorry, but no shipped items can be accepted.   Art can be submitted beginning on Tuesday, August 15th but cannot be accepted during registration time (prior to workshop starting times). Please submit during breaks or after classes.  

Exhibit: Space permitting, the entries will be displayed in the registration area (ballroom lobby) of the hotel and as such, will be unsecured at times. Although we have had no problem with the loss of any displayed items in the past, please be aware of this before submitting your entry. ART Unraveled and Phoenix Rising Productions cannot be held liable for any loss or damage to art submitted to the contest.  

Selection of Winners : Voting will take place on Sunday, August 20th at The Unraveled Awards Party. Those attending the Party are eligible to vote.  

Awards: First Place - Gift Bag valued at $100 retail - Second Place - Gift Bag valued at $75 retail - Third Place - Gift Bag valued at $50 retail  

Disclaimer: By submitting an entry to the contest, artist grants ART Unraveled and Phoenix Rising Productions the right to photograph the entry and display such photograph as it deems appropriate, i.e., on the internet or in print publications for advertising or informational purposes.   Creator retains the right of ownership of any art submitted to the contest and is responsible to retrieve the entry following the Awards Dinner.
