Silk Screening used to be laborious and extremely costly. This class will show you how to create affordable, reusable silk screens from star t to finish. These screens can be used on a variety of surfaces which will be demonstrated in class. Applications for using these screens to create backgrounds and surface treatments for your work are nearly limitless. We'll explore various effects involving the use of dyes and paints. Special effects created through layering and unconventional color application will also be taught. Participants will leave with a finished silk screened pendant created using Lisa's Puff Bead technique, and a screen that they create from a selection of supplied artwork.
