Create a beautiful but unusual collar reminiscent of the practices from our ancient ancestors. Using wire, leather and tape measure learn some basic sewing and attachment skills for putting together an alternative form. Explore many angles and materials in creating a very hip technique, fringe. We see fringe everywhere from interior design to body adornment. Create layers of dangles using ribbons and beadwork in combination with hardware and charms.
$16.00 kit fee payable to instructor at class time includes wire, leather, jump rings, glovers needle, waxed linen thread, closure.
Supply List: seed beads, ribbons, feathers, charms, shell cloth, tape measure, metallic threads, nuts, hardware charms or metal found objects, Needle nose, round pliers, chain nose, wire snips, wire (30 to 22 gauge.)
