ART Unraveled Artist Retreat

Student Art Contest Rules

The art submitted to the student art contest should be created prior to the event.

Eligibility:
Must attend a minimum of one workshop at ART Unraveled
Must attend The Unraveled Luncheon on Sunday, August 29.
Submitting artist must not be affiliated with ART Unraveled in any way (family member, staff, instructing artist)

The Art:
Should be something altered, i.e., the base of the piece must be altered from its original state and should be no larger than 12" x 12" x 2". Can be something old or something new that has been sitting around the house/studio unused!

Submission:
Should be submitted at the time of the event in an unmarked container. A tag which includes name, address, phone number, and email address should be secured in a non-visible area (entries will remain anonymous until *after* voting takes place). Sorry, but no shipped items can be accepted.

Art can be submitted on any day of the retreat but cannot be accepted during registration (prior to workshop starting times). Please submit during breaks, lunch or after classes.

Selection of Winners:
Voting will take place on Sunday, August 29th at The Unraveled Luncheon. Those attending the luncheon are eligible to vote.

Exhibit:
Items will be displayed in the registration area (ballroom lobby) of the hotel and as such, will be unsecured at times. Although we had no problem with the loss of any displayed items last year, please be aware of this before submitting. ART Unraveled and Phoenix Rising Productions cannot be held liable for any loss or damage to art submitted to the contest.

By submitting an entry to the contest, artist grants ART Unraveled and Phoenix Rising Productions the right to photograph and display such photograph as it deems appropriate, i.e., on the internet or in print publications for advertising or informational purposes.

Creator retains the right of ownership of any art submitted to the contest and is responsible to retrieve the entry following the luncheon.
