We will take your 4x6 photos or collage and transfer onto watercolor paper using a Day Lab Copy System. This will not hurt your original image. You will have the opportunity to make 4-8 images that you can embellish with collage or sewing and use in your altered books, collage or mat and frame as is. The image transfer is very ethereal and magical in itself with a soft, old look with muted colors and uneven edges. If you like your colors brighter bring in an image that is super saturated in color. Black and white images result in a warm sepia transfer. No previous experience needed, good for all levels. Supplies for hand coloring your images will be provided as well as the receptor paper. Each student will be given a sheet of silk to transfer onto; more may be purchased in class. Size of class is limited to twelve students to enable individual support.
$13 Supply fee payable to instructor at class time.
