Prerequisite: proficiency in the modified soumak weave, although I will be teaching the weave in class,

Take your wire weaving to the next level as we explore symmetry and layering techniques. It is recommended that you are proficient in the modified soumak weave. I will be teaching the weave in class, but your finished pendant will come out better.

Kit/Materials Fee (payable to instructor at class time):

• $40 includes:
• fine silver wire
• practice wire

Instructor Provided (for use in-class, and to share):

• I will have a few torches available for the students to use, also 1.25 hole punches and small dowels

Student should bring:

• 1 Swarovski Pearl - 4mm round
• 1 Swarovski Pearl - 12mm coin (these two items can be any stones/beads that you like or shape)
• Round-nose plier
• Flat-nose pliers
• Wire cutters
• Needle files
• Ring mandrel
• 1.25 hole punch
• Chasing Hammer
• Bench Block
• Ruler
• Permanent Marker
• Micro torch
• Cross-lock tweezers
• Tile or rimmed cookie sheet
• Quenching bow
