I'm pleased to announce a class I've wanted to share with you for some time, but have been patiently waiting and collecting vintage sterling silver book marks in anticipation of doing so. I wear this delicate necklace so often; I just know you will love making one for yourself.
I began by using a vintage sterling silver book mark I had received in a bead soup exchange, some years back. Then, I added some beautiful vintage glass lined tube beads, crystal rondells, tiny freshwater pearls, and vintage rhinestone buttons...along with some lovely feminine chain.
And, wouldn't you know it?
I added a vintage rhinestone brooch to the top, in cold-join fashion, of course!
I'd love it if you'd join me, as we stitch together your very own Romantic Mark!
I will also have the following for sale in the classroom:
- Vintage Glass Mercury Lined Tube Beads from the Czech Republic (1950s), 12mmx4mm (22-gauge wire fits thru these)
- Rhinestone Rondells, 4mm (oxidized)
- Chain, Nice Variety
- Vintage Rhinestone Brooches, earrings, shoe or dress clips
- Chandelier Prisms, small
Kit/Materials Fee (payable to instructor at class time): - will be determined by the vintage sterling silver book mark you choose in the classroom, or decide to saw one out in advance, I can send a couple of template patterns prior to class for you to do so!!! I have beautiful S. Kirk & Son, Reed & Barton, Lunt, Towle and Wallace Silversmiths. Many are engraved, and some have beautiful Repousse' tops. The price ranges from $30-$55. I will also have a few that are a bit more & are simply gorgeous! If you happen to have one of your own, then you're good to go. Now's the time to use it!
