Many times I complete a painting and can feel my emotions echoing onto the page. This is the effect I achieved creating this techniques/project workshop. You will love the textural changes in color and tone, and feel of each antique paper you'll transform, echoing your own emotions onto the page. You'll experiment and play with paints, mediums, collage, color theory, blending, shading & highlights, and basic composition. You will use these sheets as a background to your larger art canvas/substrate pieces, in journals or as framed art. You will complete 3 or more pages during class.
