Join artist and author of The Art of Expressive Collage, Crystal Neubauer, in this day-long workshop designed as a stand-alone class, or enjoy a more intensive study when taken as a series in combination with her other two full day offerings. **The techniques taught and types of tools made in each workshop are unique to that day and will not be a repeat of either of the other two classes in this series.

This study in black & white begins with the art of making your own handcrafted brushes and tools from found and natural materials. With these one-of-a-kind creations, and other traditional tools, you'll splash, drip, drag, and dribble your way to developing a more soulful connection to your art through a mindful exploration of mark-making utilizing paint, ink, graphite, charcoal and more. Walk away with several originally crafted tools and a plethora of sample papers that can be developed into individual works of art or included in your collage and mixed-media fodder for future projects.
