I consider myself an explorer, and have a need to know where I am at any given point, so my journals are full of maps. When I go on a trip it is not uncommon for me to make a map of how I got there. If I eat with a large table full of people, I often make a map of the table, and who sat where. Sometimes I get a small map and fold it into a pop-up and glue it in my journal. Using maps and making maps is the essence of journaling, traveling, recording time and experience. You will learn the basics of mapmaking, using maps, and folding pop-up maps into your journal.
