Be prepared to have fun and let yourself go during this workshop as you play and explore stenciling with Roxanne! She will demonstrate all the many ways she uses her stencil designs and then guide you through her processes...from choosing different backgrounds, to the tools she uses for coloring and finally how she embellishes her finished pieces. You will go home with many different stencil images that you can use in your art journals.

Kit/Materials Fee (payable to instructor at class time):

  • $5.00 for use of my supplies plus $14.00 for one of my larger stencil or two smaller ones

Instructor Provided (for use in-class, and to share):

  • Paints and inks
  • Stamp pads and stamps
  • Needles, thread
  • Pan pastels
  • Colored pencils
  • Ruler, scissors
  • Assorted textured paper and fabrics
  • Hair spray for fixative
  • Stencils

Student should bring:

  • Your art journal
  • Scissors
  • Straight edge
  • Glue stick
  • Water dish and several paper towels
  • Pencil
  • Scraps of different textured papers
  • Any small ink pads that you have on hand, (like Tim Holtz Distress Ink Sets)

Optional:

  • Da Vinci Artist Bristle Stencil Brushes
