Learn a variety of techniques, ideas and approaches as you work on a specially developed project in this workshop. You will learn ideas and techniques that can be applied to ANY art form.

In this unique all day workshop, you will create a lavishly layered book full of color, paper, text, paint, stencils and everything with which we can get our hands dirty with.

We'll combine all new layers of collage, color, text and images onto the pages. We'll learn how to push, pull and rework the pages, digging deep and discovering new visual delights on each and every page. This is the class you have been waiting for.

Instructor Provided (for use in-class, and to share):

• Kelly doesn't travel light and will be bringing acrylics, acrylic mediums, stencils, rubber stamps, ink pads, pens, markers and all of the necessary materials to create the project (bookbinding supplies, paper, etc...) to all of the classes. Please read the supply list for what you should bring.

Student should bring:

• apron
• scissors
• bone folder
• metal ruler
• one chip/bristle brush to glue OR a few of your favorite glue sticks
• waxed paper (or an old magazine/catalog to glue on)
• paper towels (or a rag to glue with)
• permanent ink pad (like Staz-On only IF you have one)
• water container (you do not need this if you bring glue sticks)
• small selection of favorite collage ephemera (background papers, focal images, etc... It is fun to bring your own favorites to make your project more personal)

Optional:

• baby wipes (optional but nice to have!)
