Create this stunning Argentium sterling silver ring using fusing techniques for wire and granules. Learn how to make small silver and gold granules and fuse them to the ring as well! Skills and techniques taught in this class include: creating granulation balls, fusing silver and gold, balling wire ends, ring sizing, torch work, working with Argentium, and finishing techniques using the flex shaft.

• 3" x 1/4" Argentium silver sheet
• 24 gauge round Argentium wire (10")
• 22k Gold granulation balls (5 ea.)
• fine tweezers
• yellow flux
• fuel
• paper towels
• written handout

Instructor Provided (for use in-class, and to share):

• Solder pads, butane torches, fuel, self-locking tweezers, water bowl, crock pot, craft brushes for flux, copper tongs, flex shafts, flex shaft keys, torches, plastic mallets, metal shears, steel blocks, washers, flush cutters, fine tweezers, green scrubby, charcoal blocks, 3M blue, 3M pink, cut off discs, cup warmers, ring mandrels, ring gauges, small bowls for flux, water, table protection, trash bags, duct tape, extension cords, chasing hammers, hat pins, brass mm gauges, extra tools for late registrants to use in class.

Student should bring:

• ring mandrel (if you don't want to share)
