Creating has always been a part of Joyce's life. Her family is paramount to her and a huge source of encouragement and support for her artistic passion, which is primarily sculpting. Joyce has become part of several Texas polymer clay guilds and CTADS (Central Texas Art Doll Sculptors), a club of talented artists. Joyce has been teaching and holding demonstrations for the past six years in Texas. In 2014, she entered one of her Woodland Elf series into the International Polymer Clay Association contest. Joyce won First Place in the Sculpting Section! She also just won 1st place at the Lone Star Retreat in Houston, TX for one of her pieces.
