In this class students will learn a simple metal etching technique that is safe and can be done in home studios. We'll stamp copper and brass and etch the design into the metal. We'll then add a patina to bring out the design. While the metal is etching we'll decorate and fold some paper for the inside of our books. Our final work will be a miniature work of art!
$15 supply fee payable to instructor at class time includes metals, etching fluid, containers and papers
Supply List: Large Glue Stick, Bone Folder, Scissors, Rubber Stamps that will fit in a 2" x 2" piece of metal
