Time: 9am - 4pm

EtchingIn this class we will learn this simple and safe technique to etch metal. The etched metals can then later be used to make collage elements, book covers or jewelry. We will use a Xerox transfer technique as well as some rubber stamping and our own designs on copper and brass to create these unique works of art. We will also experiment with some simple patinas to color the brass or copper. We'll use our etched metals as covers for some simple book forms.
